Backpacks are packed :)

Even though we have 2 weeks to go before we leave our home here in Hamburg, we actually started packing our gear for our journey.
And it was a great relief to see that everything fits into our backpacks :). As we start hiking at the start we packed it for 10 days autonomous supply and we have been able to limit our weight to 20kg!! Mars weights about 17 and Jans 20. That is a great improvement. On the Nordkalottleden it has been about 27 for Jan and 23 for Marjolein :). So, we are happy that we have saved on 12 kgs. And thanks to our friend in oslo we are able to deposit the things we do not need whilst hiking at his place and pick it up afterwards when all our food has been eaten up :)).
